If you know me, then you will know that I am not your traditional "tomboy". Where, when, and how did I develop my undying passion for sports? Well, as far as I can remember from my childhood in Ghana, all my friends were guys. I remember playing football aka soccer, going the beach, hunting and hanging around with guys. I do not recall anything with girls. Weird right, maybe so or maybe not, that's me. Ghana is well known for good football team and awesome fan. Yes I am one of them. I am the 2nd girl born in the family of 3 girls. When I came to USA, my father only had one tv in the house and we have to watch what he watches. He has reason for doing that. I did not understand it but I do not support it. Well, all he watches was football and guess what? I was the daughter that never left him alone to watch tv . So my passion for American Football was develop along with basketball. he later had two boys but till today I am the only one of his kids who can take him back to 20 yrs on sports. That's all we talk about. Don't mistake me for a boy!

First time I saw hockey game was live at the Oklahoma cox center in the 1997. From that day I fell in love with it. It reminded me of football aka soccer and of course fighting on ice. This is one sports I can not watch on tv. I prefer it live.
My newest and latest sport, I have been running marathons for the 2 years as result to stabilize my blood pressure and cholesterol as an alternative to medication and its works. No need to change what I eat :).
Track & field was in already in my up bringing and i ran track in high school.
